Symone Holliday is a multidisciplinary artist working across choreography, movement direction, and styling. Born in Tokyo and raised in a military family, her work is informed by a multicultural upbringing and a lifelong exposure to new environments, perspectives, and ways of moving through the world.
Moving fluidly between commercial and experimental projects, she approaches movement as a physical and visceral language; she explores sensory, embodied experiences through a striking visual lens. Entering the fashion industry in 2021 has further expanded her canvas, using movement, styling, and composition as interconnected tools for storytelling.
Drawn to artists who challenge convention, her work as well her spirit resists fixed categories, existing at the intersection of performance, image, and cultural exploration.
